In completing this project, I learned the following key skills:

• Identifying avalanche paths of concern based on field observations, vegetation, historical data and numerical modeling

• Efficient field travel for accomplishing specific goals

• Using RAMMS numerical modeling for avalanche applications

• Creating a thorough seasonal snowpack summary

• Deciding on mitigation techniques

• Creating operational avalanche bulletins for varying audiences
